Concept
This retro, geometric motion and menu design draws its influences from the computer games and visuals of the 80’s and early 90’s. The viewer is transported back to their youth with a modern twist. The artwork consists of bold geometric shapes, retro typography and picture elements with the aesthetic of individual pixels. The iconic 80’s Casio watch has been re-imagined as an Edinburgh Gin watch alarm displaying that it’s now “Gin Time”. The vivid orange hues, geometric shapes and digital camouflage backdrop represent orange peels which are synonymous with Edinburgh Gin and also gives the artwork a sense of movement and added depth.
