Concept
This Mexicano May cocktail menu bursts with Mexican spirit. The artwork was digitally illustrated to create a vintage style comic strip of luchadors performing with heads of Mexican gods, animals and ancient heroes. The Tequila based cocktails are named after iconic luchadors and are displayed within the comic strip segments which also double as wrestling ring ropes. Mexican influenced typography showcases the cocktails in vibrant cerise surrounded by green hues throughout to reflect tequila’s base ingredient, the agave plant. Various illustrations of agave plants are displayed throughout the menu and mirror the sharp rays backing the design. Mexican iconography utilising stars hint at the drinks being of top quality rating.
